Food and Nutrition

At Happy Faces Academy, we prioritize the importance of healthy eating for children's overall well-being, growth, and development. Providing freshly cooked breakfast and lunch meals, our "Happy Plate" offers a well-balanced diet consisting of age-appropriate portions of vegetables, fruits, grains, and protein.

We have six different menus rotating on weekly basis. Every day at center we serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack to children. Additionally, alongside each meal, children are served freshly cut seasonal fruits, complemented by organic milk and yogurt. In adherence to our commitment to health, we do not serve canned food or fruits, with the exception of Fridays when we offer ready-to-eat breakfast and pizza, sourced from a local pizzeria.
Emphasizing a chocolate-free and nut free environment, we avoid including sweetened foods in our daily menu and encourage parents to refrain from sending candies and chocolates to the center. Our team is dedicated to managing and accommodating children with allergies, ensuring that nuts are not served in the classroom and requesting parents' cooperation in this endeavor.

In line with our dedication to environmental consciousness, we have adopted the use of stainless-steel plates and spoons for lunch, minimizing the use of paper and plastic products at Happy Faces Academy. Our motto is to instill healthy eating habits in children and cultivate an appreciation for fresh and nutritious food.

Weekly menus including meals and snacks will be posted in the classrooms.
